It's well past time for an update, so here goes...
June 6th brought the arrival of "Minnie Winnie"!!!!!!!!! She was the first baby goat born on my hobby farm and was INSTANTLY loved by all.
A little more than a week later, "Little Boy" goat made his arrival while I was away from home. He had a rocky start: Hypothermic when I found him, and really clueless on how to nurse. He kept trying to nurse on his mothers waddles rather than the "business end". He required some extra TLC to get back on his hooves. Tube feeding and sleeping in my house for a couple of days, but he finally came around and figured things out!
As you can see, these babies are smaller than houscats when they are born...and absolutely ADORABLE!
